Lyn Lee specializes in angry, modern handstitched embroidery, centered in themes of empowerment of the poor and working class.
As a community organizer by day and avid stitcher by night, Lee’s designs are inspired by their work in housing rights and tenant justice. Paired often with warm floral designs, Lyn themes their work around anger and rage towards systemic injustice and exploitation of poor and working class people, with some humour here and there for good measure.
All work is hand stitched.
